The Bible says “Fear Not” 365 times…that is a daily reminder from God. Over and over again, He tells us to trust Him. He created us, knows us, and He loves us. He knows worry and anxiety are not good for us. Before Joshua crossed the Jordan River to fight the battle of Jericho, God said to Him, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua was one of the bravest Soldiers of all time. Yet, God told him to Fear Not. Why? Obviously because he was fearful of the upcoming battle. He was leading his people armed with wooden weapons to attack Soldiers armed with metal weapons occupying a fortified walled city. God told him not to be afraid or discouraged – to Fear NOT and God promised Joshua that He would be with him in the battle and wherever he would go. God’s Word and His promise is timeless. His promise is for you and for me. He is with us wherever we go. Fear Not the coronavirus, God is with you. Respect the virus, take reasonable precaution, be strong and courageous. God is with you. That is a promise you can bank on.
